PROFILE of Gilbert Miller, the theatrical producer. His wife, Helen Hays and Miller are good friends. Once, when a party was given at the Waldorf to celebrate something, Miss Hayes left at about two in the morning and charged Miller to see that her husband got home all right. By five o'clock, when MacArthur was ready to go home, Miller nobly drove him all the way to the Hayes-MacArthur residence in Nyack, returning to fall into his own bed in N. Y. Almost at once the telephone woke him, and Miss Hayes demanded to know where Charlie was. Miller said he had driven him hone to Nyack. "To Nyack! Good heavens, Gilbert, I told you we were staying at the Waldorf," she said.
